Las Vegas Wedding Story Renewed Our Vows Date: 03/20/06 User: Barbara Summary: After being married for 24 years we decided to renew our vows for our 25th wedding anniversary at the Little White Wedding Chapel. The ceremony was simple, fast, and absolutely perfect! Content: About 15 years ago, I moved to Las Vegas from the South. I am a traditional Southern woman with deep rooted morals and values. When my husband brought up the idea to renew our vows, a Las Vegas wedding chapel was not what I had in mind. We have two grown children, both unwed. I did not want my children to have their views of a proper wedding distorted by any tacky Las Vegas quickie wedding. Despite all of my hesitation, I went along with my husband’s plans. When I arrived at the Little White Wedding Chapel, I was a bit scared by the tacky wedding decorations around the building. I let my husband deal with all of the payment arrangements. He was pressured to make some large tips to the minister and photographer, but that was expected. I also purchased a lovely silk flower bouquet for a keepsake. I was impressed with the quality and the selection of bouquets. I think overall we ended up spending around $400- for our simple ceremony. All of my worries were put to rest once we entered the chapel. Our ceremony was surprisingly traditional. The minister read traditional vows we had chosen while our children stood with us. The ceremony was not rushed, but instead it was heartfelt and memorable. I was very pleased with our experience and would recommend the Little White Wedding Chapel to anyone. |
